Jane Miller, is the owner of Delta Properties. She is a native “Cherokean” with a formal education in Business Management. She has over 30 years’ experience in the real estate industry. In addition to residential properties, Jane is experienced in commercial agricultural and income properties.

Early on in her career, Jane was named Realtor of the Year by the California San Jose Mercury News when she became a member of the Million Dollar Club within the company she worked.  She represented both seller and buyer in transactions that involved 20 stand alone 4-plexes on a single property.  Upon the sale, the property was subdivided into a Planned Unit Development (PUD) and sold as individual units.

Jane has authored and published a series of articles on Business Valuations.  While in California, she qualified as an Expert Witness in  a Court System case relating to the valuation of businesses.  She has previously held several state real estate and investment related licenses, including Real Estate Broker, Real Estate Appraiser, Business Appraiser, Series 7 Securities Sales, and has completed a course in real estate surveying (all primarily in the state of California).

Locally, Jane owns farm ground of her own and has a clear understanding of the value that farming industries bring to our community.

Jane is also a visionary in her own right, when it comes to the potential of properties. She has purchased and rescued local properties in Cherokee; including the former Garfield School when the district closed down the building in 2003.  It is now home to the well-known Heart and Sole Dance Studio, Bodywise Massage, three private art and craft studios, Deer Valley Mechanical, as well as formerly housing the Head Start Child Education Program. The building is home to Delta Properties as well. It has also housed various other businesses and organizations over the past 13 years. Jane is currently beginning the process of converting a portion of the building into four apartment units for seniors 55 years and older.

Later Jane also purchased and rescued the old Masonic Lodge on East Willow in Cherokee. It is now home to Jung’s Tae Kwon Do, Ag Com Insurance, Wells Fargo Home Mortgages, Warrior Fitness, as well as two residential apartments. Jane has also recently acquired her third multi-use property in Cherokee and is in the process of seeking tenants for available spaces in all three buildings.

For fun and relaxation, Jane enjoys the theater arts, art museums, a good mystery novel, crafts, oil painting, jazz musicals and gardening.
